First Responder Conference

Hello everyone, we at the Eureka Springs Fire Department would like to formally announce that we will not be holding our conference this spring. The tradition of our conference dates back to 2008 and we appreciate the support that all of you have shown us over the years. It was not an easy decision that we discontinue the Eureka Springs conference. We would have continued the conference to fill the need for a conference in the Northwest corner of our state, however; with the new conference coming to Rogers this year we feel that this need will be met. This conference has shown their commitment to all facets of the emergency community and will be able to service this need in ways that we are just unable to do. It was never about making money for us but rather a service that we provided, and our conference survived year to year financially. 

We fully support the Northwest Regional Conference and hope that you will attend. It will held at the John Q Hammons facility in Rogers and the price of the conference is very comparable to our prices that we were charging for our conference with a great deal more to offer. This has a great potential of being the biggest and best conference in the state and it is going to be right in our back yard. I personally have been attending regular meetings in the formation of this conference and I can guarantee that this will be the conference that you do not want to miss. The dates for this year are March 14-16th with pre conference workshops beginning on the 13th. Their website is www.nwafireemsconference.com. From there you will be able to register and see their schedule of events. Their facility and financial backing far exceeds anything that we are able to do, and we are glad that the creators of this conference are committed to carry on the tradition of education, that we started, for our industry in Northwest Arkansas and we at the Eureka Springs Fire Department will do everything we can to help promote and grow this conference to the greatness that we believe it to be. 

So on behalf of everyone at the Eureka Springs Fire Department, you have our most profound appreciation for all of your support throughout the years with hopes you continue that support by being a part of the North West Arkansas Fire and EMS conference. We hope to see you there!!!!!
